I used to think Krav Maga was good because of all the hype around it. This looks like a good way to lose a fight. "It's going to end the fight". Only when they kick your butt because you trusted in garbage.
Remember legs: sidekick the knees , or frontkick. But avoid a first- attack...( you might be arrested)

You have NEVER lived in Chicago. There are plenty of times where avoidance ISNT an option.
Having grown up training and teaching Kaju in the SF Bay Area, this instructors “style” looks very foreign to me. The ridge-hand to the outside of the neck, and the punch down towards the groin not only look silly, they wouldn’t be effective in a real fight. Imo, he has the moves of “Captain Obvious” at best. 😂
I'll bet you can also end a fight by stripping naked while shouting "Tell me I am beautiful!"

I like this channel partly bc he explains a lot of things elders can easily do. As for when he talks about being shorter than your attacker, that ALWAYS applies to me! I've never been threatened by anyone 4'11"! Though my top nasty response is still what my favorite sensei always told us if by chance we did happen to drop some guy to the floor and we weren't quite yet ready to run (always smarter):: ahem! If the non-aggressor is so startled they jump in the air from fright and just happen to land knee-first on the fallen attacker's midsection, well .... there might not be any need to run after all, 'cause he ain't goin' nowhere after that. But this is not to be used unless you're absolutely sure you can prove self defense.
when i was 16 years old this short guy 30 year old a known local "skinhead" hooligan (heavy build wide shoulders) approached me, before i knew he head but me so hard my hear tilted back i was looking at the sky, somehow in my mouth i had his hair had to spit them out, he hit me square on my front teeth. when i looked at him again he was sitting on his ass on the ground, couldn't get up his forehead was bleeding so bad they had to take him to the hospital. we became friends later. i had zero injuries all my teeth were fine. but he really hit me hard i saw stars for a moment.
